We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
