And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
