۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
