We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
