Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
