And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
