We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
