Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
