Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 So you and your deities 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 We glorify God." 166 What, would they then say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
