In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Sad. By the renowned Qur'an, 1 Nay, but those who disbelieve are in false pride and schism. 2 How many a generation We destroyed before them, and they called, but time was none to escape. 3 And they marvel that a warner from among themselves hath come unto them, and the disbelievers say: This is a wizard, a charlatan. 4 "Has he made the gods (all) into one Allah? Truly this is a wonderful thing!" 5 Their assembly left (saying): 'Go, and be patient to your gods, this is something to be desired. 6 We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication. 7 Has this Exhortation been sent down among us only to him, to the exclusion of all others?” Nay, they are in doubt regarding My Exhortation, and are saying all this because they have not yet had any taste of My chastisement. 8 Or do they [think that they] own the treasures of thy Sustainer's grace - [the grace] of the Almighty, the Giver of Gifts? 9 Or, is theirs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them? Then let them ascend by (their) means! 10 A host of deserters of the allies shall be here put to flight. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes, 12 So also did the people of Thamud, Lot, and the dwellers of the Forest. 13 not one [was there] but gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon My retribution fell due. 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
