And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 This is what they had been promised for the Day of Judgment. 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
