And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
