And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair – the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 And other similar torments. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
