Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
