Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
