Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
