Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
