BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
