Say: "[Thus speaks God:] 'O you servants of Mine who have attained to faith! Be conscious of your Sustainer! Ultimate good awaits those who persevere in doing good in this world. And [remember:] wide is God's earth, [and,] verily, they who are patient in adversity will be given their reward in full, beyond all reckoning!'" 10 Say: "I am commanded to worship God with obedience all-exclusive for Him; 11 And I am commanded to be the first of those who submit." 12 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day." 13 Say: “Allah alone shall I serve, consecrating my devotion to Him. 14 So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss." 15 They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me. 16 Those who avoid At-Taghut (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves, 17 who listen to the Words and follow what is finest of it. These are they whom Allah has guided. They are those of understanding. 18 Is he on whom the word of doom is fulfilled (to be helped), and canst thou (O Muhammad) rescue him who is in the Fire? 19 But those who fear their Lord -- for them await lofty chambers, above which are built lofty chambers, underneath which rivers flow -- God's promise; God fails not the tryst. 20 Do you not see that God sends down water from the sky, then makes it flow in rills on the earth, and brings forth corn from it which, having passed through changes of shade and colour, comes to ripen, and you see it autumnal yellow; then He reduces it to chaff. There are indeed lessons in this for those who are wise. 21
