Forgiver (Ghaafer)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ha-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic Language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Most Honourable, the All Knowing. 2 the Forgiver of sins, the Accepter of repentance, the Stern in retribution, the Bountiful. There is no god but He. To Him are all destined to return. 3 None dispute concerning the revelations of Allah save those who disbelieve, so let not beguile thee their going about in the cities. 4 The people of Noah who lived before and the Confederate tribes who lived after them rejected Our revelations. Every nation schemed against its Messengers to seize them and disputed against them to defeat the truth. But torment struck them and how terrible was their retribution! 5 In this way the sentence of your Lord against the infidels that they would be the inmates of Hell, was justified. 6 The angels that bear the Throne and those that are around to extol your Lord's glory with His praise, they believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for the believers, saying: “Our Lord! You encompass everything with Your Mercy and Knowledge. So forgive those that repent and follow Your Path, and guard them against the chastisement of Hell. 7 Admit them, O Lord, to the garden of Eden which You promised them, and those of their fathers, spouses and progeny who are upright. You are truly all-mighty and all-wise. 8 “And save them from the evil consequences of sins; and whomever You save from the evil consequences of sins on that Day – so You have indeed had mercy upon him; and this only is the greatest success.” 9
