Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant!" 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
