Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 So you persevere with patience (in your mission). The promise of God is true. Whether We show you some of the punishment We have promised them, or gather you up in death, they have to come back to Us. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
