Elucidated (Fussilat)

54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ha-Mim. 1 This (Qur’an) is sent down from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 2 A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know, 3 Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Say, "I am only a human being like yourselves. It has been revealed to me that your God is One God. So take the straight path to Him and ask His forgiveness." Woe to those who associate others with Him, 6 (To) those who do not give poor-rate and they are unbelievers in the hereafter. 7 The righteously striving believers will have a never-ending reward". 8
