Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
