Fussilat 3 of 6
And on the day that the enemies of Allah shall be brought together to the fire, then they shall be formed into groups. 19 Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do. 20 And they will say unto their skins: wherefore bear ye witness against us? They will say: Allah hath caused us to speak, Who causeth everything to speak, and Who created you the first time and unto whom ye are now caused to return. 21 And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do. 22 This was how you considered your Lord, but He knows you better than you know yourselves. Thus, you are now lost". 23 Even if they were to exercise patience, their dwelling would still be hell fire. Even if they were to seek favors, they would receive none. 24 ۞ We assigned to them companions who made their doings appear fair to them. But the same decree [of punishment] proved true against them, which had proved true against nations of jinn and mankind who passed away before them. Surely they were the losers. 25
