The deniers of the Truth say: “Do not give ear to the Qur'an and cause interruption when it is recited; thus perhaps you will gain the upper hand.” 26 Therefore, We will most certainly make those who are bent on denying the truth taste a severe punishment and We will most certainly requite them according to the worst of their deeds, 27 The recompense of the enemies of God for their rejection of Our revelations will be fire as their eternal dwelling. 28 And the unbelievers shall say, 'Our Lord, show us those that led us astray, both jinn and men, and we shall set them underneath our feet, that they may be among the lower ones. 29 In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised! 30 “We are your friends in the life of this world and in the Hereafter; in it for you is all that you may wish for, and for you is all what you ask.” 31 An entertainment from the Forgiving, the Merciful. 32
