Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
