Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 all this will be theirs; let them taste it -- a scalding, dark, foul fluid, 57 And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)! 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
