The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 among gardens and springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
