The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
