Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
