3/4 Hizb 50
< random >
۞ It is God who subjugated the ocean for you so that ships may ply through it by His command, and you may seek His bounty, and may haply be grateful. 12 And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect. 13 Say, [O Muhammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allah so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn. 14 Whosoever worketh righteously, worketh for himself; and whosoever doth evil, doth against himself; then unto your Lord ye will be made to return. 15 And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the Prophethood; and provided them with good things, and preferred them above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of their time, during that period), 16 And We gave them clear proofs in the command; so they did not differ except after the knowledge had come to them due to jealousy among themselves; indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matter in which they differ. 17 Then We have made you follow a course in the affair, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who do not know. 18 Behold, they could never be of any avail to thee if thou wert to defy the will of God for, verily, such evildoers are but friends and protectors of one another, whereas God is the Protector of all who are conscious of Him. 19 This [Qur'an] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain [in faith]. 20 Nay! do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good-- that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil it is that they judge. 21
