Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. 1 And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition. 2 This is because the unbelievers follow falsehood while the believers follow the truth from their Lord. As such Allah sets forth for people their examples. 3 So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish. 4 He will guide them and set their condition right 5 and He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them. 6 Believers, if you help God, He will help you and make you steadfast (in your faith). 7 And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective. 8 That is because they hate that which Allah has sent down (this Quran and Islamic laws, etc.), so He has made their deeds fruitless. 9 ۞ Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. 10 This, because God is the Protector of all who have attained to faith, whereas they who deny the truth have no protector. 11
