Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Allah has caused the works of those who disbelieve and hinder people from the way of Allah to go to waste. 1 But those who believe and do the right, and believe what has been revealed to Muhammad, which is the truth from their Lord, will have their faults condoned by Him and their state improved. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth unto mankind their similitude. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will soon guide them (towards Paradise) and make them succeed. 5 And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 And those who disbelieve, downfall shall be theirs, and He shall send astray their works. 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector. 11
