Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
