And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his companion will say: this is that which with me is ready. 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
