With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
