And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
