With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
