We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
