AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
