▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
