Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
