We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
