And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
