Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), enlighten, for by the munificence of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true! 34 Have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and earth? Nay, but they have not sure faith. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or, do they desire to outwit? The unbelievers are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - 45 The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
