Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 If they say, "He is but a poet; we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him," 30 Say thou: "Wait, [then,] hopefully; behold, I, too, shall hopefully wait with you!" 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe. 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Have they been created from nothing or are they themselves their own creators? 35 Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or do they have a ladder whereon they can climb and attempt to listen (to what is transpiring in the Higher Realm)? Then, let any of them who has listened to it produce a clear proof of it. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? 40 Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or have they a god, other than God? Glory be to God, above that which they associate! 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 Wherefore let them alone, till they meet their Day whereon they shall swoon. 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 Await the judgement of your Lord, for you are always before Our eyes, and glorify your Lord with praises when you rise, 48 and proclaim the praise of thy Lord in the night, and at the declining of the stars. 49
Almighty Allah's Truth.
