So exhort (them, O Prophet), for by your Lord's Grace, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or they allege, “He is a poet – we await a calamity of the times to befall him.” 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Does their reasoning prompt them to this, or they are a people rebellious? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful. 34 Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Seek they to lay a plot? Then those who disbelieve it is they who shall be plotted against. 42 Do they have another god besides God? God is too exalted to be considered equal to the idols. 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 So leave them till they encounter their Day in which they shall be thunderstruck. 45 The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
