Wherefore admonish thou! thou art not, by the grace of thy Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or is it that [they who reject thy message, O Muhammad, fear lest] thou ask of them a reward, so that they would be burdened with debt [if they should listen to thee]? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
Almighty Allah's Truth.
