(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 He plunged the villages 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
